Descender -- Rope Rider The Rope Rider was designed for every day use with 1/2 inch (13 mm) or 7/16 inch (11 mm) nylon or polyester, single or double braided rope. This personal lowering device offers unique design features:

• Each unit is individually proof tested - spring loaded to control rope motion.
• Four Rope slots to fine tune the descent rate.

Laboratory Tested

The Rope Rider has been tested by UL Laboratories and meets all applicable NFPA, ANSI and CALOSHA standards for devices of this type.

Approved Ropes

Manufacturer recommends New England KMIII 7/16" or 1/2"; New England Safety Blue 1/2".
