Lanyard - BlueWater Individual Rescue

The Lanyard, Individual Rescue [ LIR ] is designed for multi-duty. The lanyard itself is manufactured from 1 inch BlueWater Climb-Spec 7901XX webbing. The top end has a sewn Kong Tango for ease of use. The lanyard itself has 4 daisy loops on the carabiner end, 1 daisy loop in the center and 6 daisy loops at the user end. The LIR can be used for troop rescue by clipping and dragging while maintaining a defensive stance. The LIR is also strong enough for extraction with an end to end tensile strength of over 6000 lbf. Daisy loop tensile strength is 1400 lbf. The user end has a 1/2 twist so the LIR lays flat when girth hitched onto a harness or web gear. End to end length 40 inches including Kong Tango.
