FEATURES

This special device automatically stops or considerably slows descent when handle is released; squeeze handle to descend normally, controlling speed with the other hand. Note: the handle should not be used as a means of controlling the descent.

Spring keeps the lever in when the descender is not in use. All control surfaces are stainless steel. Slack rope can be taken up easily.

Diagram engraved on the device shows correct threading. Designed for ropes from 9 to 11 mm (7/16").

Works best with flexible, clean rope. With stiffer ropes friction is greatly reduced and "stop" feature may be impaired or inoperative. Made in France
