    RETURNS OR EXCHANGES: Buyer must first contact Rope and Rescue for a return authorization number (R.A.N.) before returning any product for exchange. Merchandise must be returned in brand new and completely unused. Please protect merchandise during shipment. Merchandise remains the property of customer and must be shipped freight prepaid, no C.O.D.’s accepted. Returns subject to a 20% restocking charge or minimum $10 charge. All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. When exchanging, the merchandise must be brand new and completely unused. Customer is responsible for cost of shipping items back. 

    SHORTAGES OR MISTAKES: Shortages or mistakes must be reported within 10 days of receipt. Customer must use product codes when ordering before Rope and Rescue will consider any claim. Rope and Rescue makes every effort to avoid mistakes: 1. Order taker verifies shipping address, 2. order taker notates person placing order, 3. order taker verifies payment method, 4. order taker repeats order back to customer after entering product into our invoice computer program, 5. order taker watches for any inconsistencies or likely mistakes (for instance … you may order 1/2" rope with a 7/16" descender. This may be what you intended, but we will ask to confirm) 6. shipping department triple checks every order before packaging, three separate people are involved in this step. While Rope and Rescue is very careful to avoid mistakes, we will correct any error at our expense that is determined to be fully Rope and Rescue’s mistake.

    SPECIAL & CUSTOM ORDERS: Absolutely no cancellations or returns of special orders or custom orders. Once the manufacturer has shipped a special order item, cancellations incur a 20% restocking fee. Rope and Rescue will communicate lead times to customer once they are available. Lead time for special order is completely dependent on manufacturer.

    AVAILABILITY: Many items on our site are listed as in-stock. This means that those items are usually kept in-stock. However, it is possible that an item has recently gone out of stock due to abnormal purchases. Rope and Rescue will contact you if any items are unavailable.

    SALES TAXES: Applicable Colorado sales tax collected on shipments within the state of Colorado and Nortch Carolina. Tax exempt form must be on file with Rope and Rescue to avoid Rope and Rescue collecting Colorado or North Carolina sales tax. Outside of Colorado and North Carolina: although we do not collect sales tax on any shipment outside of Colorado, this does not mean you are not required to pay any applicable sales or use tax for your state. As necessary, please contact local or state sale tax agencies in your area. We will review your order and remove tax prior to charging card if applicable.

    C.O.D. ORDERS: MONEY ORDER OR CASHIER’S CHECK ONLY. Fedex charges an additional $10.50 per package. C.O.D. shipments only within the continental United States. Ground service only on C.O.D. orders. Fedex no longer accepts cash. Make money order or cashier’s check out to “Rope and Rescue”. DO NOT make payment out to “United Parcel Service” or Fedex. To order C.O.D., please call.

    INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: (Ouside of US, Canada, and Mexico) $2500 minimum order for any international orders. Credit card is not a valid method of payment. Wire Transfer required in advance of packaging. Shipping is ExWorks OR we can ship to a freight forwarder within the US. Please contact us for further information about international orders.

    OPEN ACCOUNTS: Very few of our customers have an open account and we are very strict about being paid on time. Net 30 days to approved customers only. Requirements for open account approval include but are not limited to: a completely filled out credit application including fax numbers of trade references, a favorable Dunn & Bradstreet Rating, a favorable owner personal credit report, 3 business trade references that will share information, financial statements, one bank reference, a commercial shipping address, $6,000 yearly purchases. Interest charges and service charges where allowed by law may be imposed on delinquent accounts.

    ORDERS RECEIVED BY MAIL: Please provide complete information: Billing and Shipping Address, payment details, requested products with SKU numbers.

    PRICING & SPECIFICATIONS: PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Colors, specifications, and materials may change from information provided due to manufacturer changes. All prices reflect net cost in U.S. currency. Prices do not include freight and handling charges; export, custom, or duty fees for international shipments; applicable federal, state, or local sales tax

    SHIPPING POLICY: Product and prices are F.O.B. (Freight On Board) from shipping point of origin. Freight charges will be prepaid and added to your invoice. Essentially, once it ships it belongs to you. Because of our huge inventory, most of the product listed on our website will ship from Rope and Rescue. Whenever possible shipping from Rope and Rescue will go FedEx or United Parcel Service (UPS). Oversized packages are subject to additional handling and charges. Drop shipments will ship F.O.B. by the manufacturer’s preferred carrier. Some items must go motor freight (usually trucking). Most truck driver’s will only move the product to the edge of their truck and customer may be responsible for unloading. Additional unloading may be available at an extra charge depending on carrier policy. Drop-ship orders can not be cancelled once the order has already been shipped.

    WARRANTIES: Warranties extend to original buyer only. Most merchandise is manufacture warranted. Warranties will vary depending on the particular product and the particular manufacturer policy. Please contact the manufacturer regarding warranties. In all cases, the manufacture will make the final determination about whether the product is covered under warranty.

    DAMAGE CLAIMS: Although Rope and Rescue takes special care to insure the safe arrival of all orders, accidents and damage can occur. If any outward damage has occurred, please note the extent of damage on the freight bill and contact Rope and Rescue immediately. Damage claims must be reported within 10 days by the customer (or consignee) with the carrier. Damage claims not reported within 10 days after receiving products cannot be pursued. Please save packaging materials so that FedEx (or other shipping) can inspect at their discretion. Shipments are F.O.B. Rope and Rescue will make every effort on the customer’s behalf.

    RETURNED SHIPMENTS OR REFUSED C.O.D. SHIPMENTS: Customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Product returned is subject to a 20% restocking charge. Minimum handling fee of $10 plus any shipping charges.

    Work At Height Is Dangerous: Proper training is required before using any equipment for Rope Access, Fall Protection, SAR, Recreation, or any other use. No product descriptions, videos, or any other materials from Rope and Rescue should be considered a substitute for proper training. The work done using our safety equipment is inherently dangerous. User accepts all liability.
